Törggelen

Valle Isarco & Törggelen – an inseparable duo.

Autumn in South Tyrol and especially in the Valle Isarco is the season of Törggelen, a custom with tradition. This custom goes back to the time when all helpers of the grape harvest were invited to a hearty meal and sampling of the young wine as a thank you at the end of the harvest. This became a tradition which is now an integral part of South Tyrolean culture.
